Pass IT On is a Microsoft Authorised Refurbisher and can therefore supply some items of Microsoft software to charities and educational establishments at low prices.

• Microsoft Office XP standard edition (limited availability) £25
• Open Office (fully compatible with MS Office) £10.

Includes 3 month return to base warranty.

Software:

Under the terms of the Microsoft Authorised Refurbisher Programme, Windows XP professional and Office XP standard can only be supplied for use by eligible charities and educational establishments. Please contact us for more information.

Supply and install MS Windows XP professional or MS Office XP onto existing PC:

• at Pass IT On workshop: £30 per software package per PC
• on site: £50 per software package per PC

Open Office is fully compatible with Microsoft Office and can be set up to save all files as Microsoft Office files. It is free software with free upgrades - we only charge for the time spent installing and configuring it.

Hardware:

• Equipment is donated to Pass IT On by individuals and companies when they upgrade. This means that the stock we have available varies, however the example given here is currently typical.
• All hard drives are securely wiped (using DBan software) before being sold.
• All electrical equipment is PAT tested before being sold.
• We do not currently get many TFT (flatscreen) monitors donated, however there may be some available. Please get in touch for availability / prices.

Delivery:

You are welcome to collect PCs from Pass IT On once we have told you they are ready, however we can also deliver within Edinburgh city boundaries (contact us for prices to other locations):

• up to 2 PCs: £10
• 3 to 5 PCs: £15
• 6 to 10 PCs: £20

Upgrades, Repairs, Data Recovery and Data Restoration:

£15 per 20 minutes at our workshop (+ cost of parts if required - or bring your own!)

Service Options:

• £10 per PC/month or £100/year - return to base
• £15 per PC/month or £160/year - onsite (w/in Edinburgh city boundaries)

If the problem cannot be fixed, PCs will be restored to their original condition. You are advised to make regular back-ups of all data, e-mails etc.
