No matter what their health, social or financial circumstances are, all individuals are treated equally, enabled to fully participate in society and, should they wish, enjoy the benefits that access to computer technology can bring.
Our values are at the heart of everything we do:
Our work with clients empowers them to gain more independence and autonomy; we empower our staff, trainees and volunteers to take the initiative and be proactive; by virtue of our size, agility and independence, we are empowered to make change happen.
We are an inclusive organisation. We will respond to need whenever and wherever we can. We embrace diversity and encourage and support our clients, staff and volunteers to realise their full potential.
We believe in making best use of resources, both for our clients and our organisation. We re-use and recycle materials whenever possible with a view to minimising waste.
We are committed to finding the solutions that work for each individual client. We go the extra mile for them, working with them to ensure they have what they need to make a positive impact in their life. We view each staff member, trainee and volunteer as an individual and encourage them to work to their own strengths, whilst supporting them in any challenges.
Friendly and approachable
We treat everyone we come in contact with as an individual, in an open and friendly manner and with respect and dignity.
We pride ourselves in being a local charity. We are serving the needs of local people. It is important to us to be active in the community and provide opportunities for others to participate, too, whether that be through donating computers, through becoming a volunteer or generally giving local support.
Because we are a small and independent charity, we can easily and promptly respond to need with minimum bureaucracy. Our activities give our clients more independence in their own lives.
